Description:
a pleasant 34-year-old female, who came in to discuss options for breast augmentation. She is a nurse with critical care background, and has 2 children under the age of 6, she breast fed them for about a year each, she does not plan to have any more children. She currently wears a 36B bra, and she is hoping that augmentation will get her closer to a D cup or more, as long as it is proportional to the rest of her body. Height is 5’5″. Weight is 180 pounds. She noted that she has “broad shoulders and wide hips,” and she thinks she can accommodate larger implants. She would like them to be proportional to her body and have them as large as possible. She is concerned that she will have the procedure done and “wish I would have gone bigger.” She was augmented with 700cc moderate high profile, silicone gel implants placed subpectorally (under the muscle). Because of her pre-existing slight breast droop, a dual plane technique via an inframammary incision was utilized to reduce the risk of a ‘double bubble deformity’. The procedure was performed in-office in our fully accredited (AAAASF) facility under light sedation and local anesthesia. Results are shown at 3 months.
