Description:
39-year-old female who presented to discuss options for breast augmentation. She is accompanied on her visit by her husband, and she is a stay at home mother with her two year old daughter, who was breast fed for about 22 months. In regards to her breasts, she feels she has lost a lot of volume. She noticed that the left breast is slightly “droopier” than the right, but does not think she needs a lift. She would like more volume in her breasts, but does not want to look artificial. She currently wears an A cup bra, and would like to go up about two cup sizes. She wants her breasts to look natural and be proportional to her body. Height is 5’3″. Weight is 145 pounds. After trying on our sizers, she decided that her goal was around 400 cc. Therefore, she was augmented with 375cc smooth round high profile silicone gel implants placed subpectorally (under the muscle) using an inframammary incision and a dual plane approach to minimize the risk of a ‘double bubble’ deformity. The procedure was performed in-office in our fully accredited (AAAASF) facility under light sedation and local anesthesia. Results are shown at 3 months.
