Description:
39 year old female who is here today for consultation to discuss options for breast augmentation. She is 5’ 6” tall, and weighs 140 pounds. They have 4 children, ages 3-19 years old. She states she breast fed all of her children for a total of 11 years. The most recent child was breast fed until about 6 months ago. She states she has never had much volume in her breasts, but she thinks her breasts have a deflated appearance. She does not want to look “top heavy” or “fat” after augmentation. Her goal for breast augmentation is more volume with a natural and proportional appearance. She would also like to avoid having multiple surgeries, but she is not sure if she will require a lift. She does not think her breasts sag, but she would like to have an honest opinion on what can be done to make her breasts look better. After trying on our sizers, she decided that her goal was around 425 cc. Therefore, she was augmented with 425cc smooth round high profile silicone gel implants placed subpectorally (under the muscle) using an inframammary incision and a dual plane approach to minimize the risk of a ‘double bubble’ deformity. The procedure was performed in-office in our fully accredited (AAAASF) facility under light sedation and local anesthesia. Results are shown at 3 months.
