Description:
32 year old mother of a 14 year old daughter, she presented to discuss options for her breasts. She states that although she did not breast feed her daughter, she did have a large weight gain (she just recently loss more than 60 pounds). Since the weight loss, her breasts have felt “deflated”. She would now like to improve the “look” of her breasts. Height is 5’6″. Weight is 120 pounds. Even though her primary goal was additional breast volume, because she had significant breast droop (ptosis), we explained that breast implants needed to wait until the ptosis was corrected with a breast lift. Once healed (typically 2-3 months later) if she still desired more breast volume, we could add implants without adding new scars (using the breast lift scars). She agreed to this staged approach, and proceeded with a mastopexy (breast lift). The procedure was performed in-office in our fully accredited (AAAASF) facility under light sedation and local anesthesia. Results shown at 3 months. After several months, she was able to proceed with her breast augmentation, once the breast droop had been corrected (shown HERE).
