Description:
A pleasant 60-year-old male who presented to discuss options for excess skin of the upper eyelids. Over the last few years, he has noticed more and more issues and problems with excess skin of the upper eyelids. It has started to impair his vision due to the skin setting on the upper eyelid and extending over the eyelashes. He noted that this is especially problematic when his allergies act up, causing the skin to ‘puff up’ around the eyes. He is hoping that there is a surgical option to help remove the excess skin so he has better vision. To address his concerns, we performed a direct brow lift and bilateral upper lid blepharoplasty. This procedure was performed in-office in our fully accredited (AAAASF) facility under light sedation and local anesthesia. Results are shown at 4 months.
