46 year old women who came to us to discuss her options after massive weight loss. She a lap band placed about 5 years ago; she has lost over 100 pounds so far; her current weight is stable. She and her husband agree that the area that is the most bothersome is her excess abdominal skin. She states that she can feel the excess skin moving when she is working out and that she has to tuck it into her Spanks during the day. She said she has worked hard, and is ready to “look like she feels”. An abdominoplasty with rectus repair was performed on an outpatient basis under general anesthesia. Results are shown at 6 months.
